A/N: This takes place before the Paula/Murdoc event; I will warn you in future chapters of anything that may be offensive. There's some language in this, so I'm giving a heads up.
2D was leaning back on the sofa with his eyes closed. He sat up with a start when he felt someone plop down on his lap. He opened his eyes and his girlfriend planted a kiss on him. "Paula, wot d'ya think you're doin'?" He grinned his usual goofy grin and looked into her dark eyes.
"What? Am I not allowed to kiss my boyfriend?" She looked at him and pouted playfully.
"I-well, I guess you are, but-" She put a finger to his lips and he stopped talking.
"Well, then, hush." She smiled and pushed her lips to his once more and ran her fingers through his blue hair. Murdoc sat on the opposite end of the couch and shook his head in disgust.
"Augh, get a room, won't ya?" They parted lips abruptly, forgetting that he was even in the room. Paula smiled seductively at Murdoc and ran her hand down 2D's thigh, causing him to jolt slightly.
"Fine then. Come on, babe. Let's 'get a room.'" She said using finger quotes, and stood up, pulling him with her. Murdoc watched as 2D followed her with that 'stupid awkward walk he always does.' Murdoc turned his head away and snatched the remote of the coffee table and flipped the television to some gory, slasher film. He swung his feet into the table with a 'CLUNK!' and turned the volume up on high as the killer stabbed the stereotypical dumb blonde girl that every slasher film has. He didn't want to hear 2D get down and dirty with his bitch girlfriend.
Not more than five minutes later, Russel walked into the room and Murdoc felt the couch shift as he sat down.
"What are we watching?" Russel asked as the masked killer claimed another victim. Murdoc shrugged his shoulders in response.
"Some one star, D-grade slasher. Does it matter? They're all the same." he said in an sharp voice. Russel was put off.
"No need to snap. What's been up with you? You been real snippy lately." Murdoc just looked away.
"Nothing. I just feel sick. I'm going to go lay down." He stood and walked towards his bedroom. 'Why did I snap at Russel? He's never said anything bad to me. Maybe I really am getting sick.' He sat on his bed and proceeded to take off his boots before rolling over onto his side, facing away from the door. After a few minutes, sleep eventually took over and he fell into darkness.
